Kheer Recipe in English



*Ingredients:


* Milk – 1 litre

* Rice – ½ cup (soaked for 30 minutes)

* Sugar – ½ cup (adjust to taste)

* Cardamom powder – ½ teaspoon

* Almonds – 10 (chopped)

* Pistachios – 10 (chopped)

* Saffron – few strands (optional)

* Rose water – 1 teaspoon

*Method:

اجزاء:


* دودھ – ایک لیٹر

* چاول – آدھا کپ (آدھا گھنٹہ بھگو کر رکھیں)

* چینی – آدھا کپ (حسبِ ذائقہ)

* الائچی پاؤڈر – آدھا چائے کا چمچ

* بادام – دس عدد (کٹے ہوئے)

* پستے – دس عدد (کٹے ہوئے)

* زعفران – چند دھاگے (اختیاری)

* عرقِ گلاب – ایک چائے کا چمچ

ترکیب:


1. دودھ کو ایک بھاری دیگچی میں اُبال لیں۔

2. چاول شامل کریں اور چمچ ہلاتے رہیں تاکہ چاول نیچے نہ لگیں۔

3. ہلکی آنچ پر پکائیں یہاں تک کہ چاول گل جائیں اور دودھ گاڑھا ہو جائے۔

4. چینی اور الائچی ڈال کر مزید 10 منٹ پکائیں۔

5. آنچ بند کر کے عرقِ گلاب شامل کریں۔

6. بادام، پستے اور زعفران سے سجاوٹ کریں۔

7. ٹھنڈی یا گرم، جیسے پسند ہو، پیش کریں۔
